NRMN’s Research Mentee Training workshops are designed to help research mentees maximize the effectiveness of their mentoring relationships.
These workshops are intended for mentees in the biomedical sciences across career stages, including undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty.
Curricular materials are available for trainings that range from a single workshop covering a few topics, to a 10-week summer workshop series, to a comprehensive 1 or 2-semester seminar course that is taken concurrently with independent research credits with a faculty research mentor.
Core training materials for undergraduate mentees are currently available in the Entering Research curriculum. A second edition of this curriculum, including new materials for graduate student mentees, is in development.
