NRMN partnered with the DPC and BUILD sites to gather a visual representation of what student’s summer research experience looked like by crowdsourcing photos utilizing the #MyBUILDSummer. In doing so, a beautiful representation of what the summer program experience entailed across the nation. A plethora of participants from several BUILD sites as well as the DPC participated in this event on August 8, 2017. This social media campaign was designed to raise awareness of BUILD Summer programs and the true impact that researchers make not only in their institution, but in their community as well. #MyBUILDSummer certainly demonstrated the diverse areas of practicing researchers across the nation.
