Congratulations to former NRMN-P3 scholar Dr. Adriana Galvan for receiving an impact score of 27 (7th percentile) on her R01 proposal resubmission. Her grant, entitled “The Primate External Globus Pallidus as a Critical Node in Normal and Parkinsonian Basal Ganglia Circuits,” was submitted to NIH/NINDS. Dr. Galvan states, “I know that, in large part, this was thanks to all the feedback and the learning I received in the workshop. I found the workshop essential to learn to organize and schedule my grant writing. After resubmitting my R01 in March, I used the principles acquired in the workshop to prepare and submit an R21 in June.”
