Online Mentorship through NRMNet
- NRMN online mentorships connect scientists at all career stages of research
- Participants typically meet online for an hour a week for four months
- Mentors and mentees are matched based on career level, areas of research and cultural background
- Programming is designed to foster discussion to address diversity, inclusivity, and culture
As an NRMNet Online Mentor, you are matched with NRMN Mentees whose level of professional development and mentorship needs are most suited to receiving guidance from a mentor with your qualifications. Mentees span various career stages, from undergraduates to junior faculty.
Who is eligible?
We welcome faculty, researchers, and postdocs across the biomedical and behavioral sciences to sign up as NRMNet Online Mentors and participate in the NRMNet Online Mentoring Program.

Become an NRMN Master Mentor
As an NRMN Master Mentor, you will be recognized for your advanced skills and experience in mentoring with the official designation of NRMN Master Mentor. NRMN provides training opportunities to support mentors interested in achieving Master Mentor status.

We welcome faculty, researchers, and postdoctoral fellows across the biomedical and behavioral sciences to apply to become NRMN Master Mentors.

Become an NRMN Coach
This opportunity is for more senior researchers who are committed to the career advancement of investigators from diverse backgrounds and desire to implement NRMN coaching models in the near future. Four intensive coaching programs have been developed by faculty at participating NRMN institutions for grant proposal writing and professional development.

We welcome experienced biomedical or behavioral researchers to apply for the Coach-in-Training program.
