In this issue, we want to introduce two new features we added recently to MyNRMN:
New Feature: Video Calls
The MyNRMN Team enhanced the video call feature and added call scheduling. This feature enables all MyNRMN members to schedule a Video Call. That’s right – host a Video Call without the risk of being hacked or “bombed” by an intruder. When someone schedules a meeting using MyNRMN’s Video Call, they can invite another NRMN member (or members – this can be used in My Groups as well!) to join the call. To join the call, click on the call link in the email, login to MyNRMN and join the call. The video call feature is available for all MyNRMN members (MyMentor, My Groups, or even individuals who want to connect). Login to MyNRMN and click “Schedule a Video Call” to get started!
New Feature: Ask Me a Question
MyNRMN has always focused on connecting mentors and mentees, and it’s more important now than ever! However, we know it can be difficult to ask someone to connect before you’ve had the opportunity to converse. This is why we’ve created the new “Ask me a question” capability. When you search for a mentor, now you can ask them a question directly (you will now notice that there is a button labeled “Ask me a question” next to each member). This enables mentees and mentors alike to ask questions and start conversations with other members without being required to connect first. We think that enabling a conversation earlier in the networking progression will lead to more fruitful connections and mentoring opportunities. Login to MyNRMN and start searching to try this new feature today!
