Facilitating Research Mentor Training @ University of Pittsburgh

This train-the-trainer workshop is designed to support participants’ efforts in implementing mentor training at their institution or organization that will strengthen productive research mentoring relationships with diverse mentees.

Participants will learn about Entering Mentoring, a mentor training curriculum designed for research mentors across career stages. Participants will gain the knowledge, confidence, and facilitation skills needed to design and implement trainings at their institution or organization.

Participants are…

  1. Faculty, instructors, staff, or administrators from academic health centers, colleges, and universities
  2. Personally mentoring trainees in biomedical fields or working with mentors whose trainees are in biomedical fields
  3. Committed to implementing research mentor training workshops at their institution or organization within the next year
