The Allied Genetics Conference 2016

July 13, 2016 - July 17, 2016

The Allied Genetics Conference (TAGC) is a meeting that, for the first time, brings together seven different genetics research communities for a one of a kind event. The conference will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida. Each of the following communities, C. elegans, ciliates, drosophila, PEQ, yeast and zebrafish will hold their regular meeting but will also have the advantage of being able to attend sessions offered by the other communities. Register for one and have access to all! The conference provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge science in the area of model organism research. TAGC is expected to attract over 3,000 scientific attendees, over 100 exhibiting companies and the attention of the media.
GSA members and leading scientists from around the world are selected to present their research findings at plenary, platform, and poster sessions. Abstracts presented are published online and are citable. TAGC’s trade show floor will bring together organism specific vendors that you expect to see at the individual meetings as well as new products and services designed to enhance your research and teaching. There will also be numerous educational events for trainees.
Registration is required for admittance to all scientific sessions, exhibits, posters, award presentations, workshops and other meeting events. The official language of the conference is English.
