CICATS announces the Young Innovative Investigator Program

The Connecticut Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (CICATS) at the University of Connecticut is pleased to announce an exciting research opportunity, the Young Innovative Investigator Program.
YIIP provides academic training to underrepresented minority students who are dedicated to pursuing careers in biological and biomedical science while increasing the pipeline among the pool of academic scientists. By fulfilling the program requirements, YIIP Scholars will acquire the expertise to become a competitive candidate to enter a MD, MD-PhD or PhD program.
 
 
The application deadline is April 25th, 2016. The chosen YIIP Scholars will be announced in May 2016.
