“We are excited to launch the second phase of NRMN, which builds upon the solid foundation from Phase I activities.
Our goal is to make NRMN a valuable resource to NIH funded programs, institutions, and professional organizations for mentorship, networking, and career development across all biomedical career levels. With our unified and integrated networking and mentorship platforms, our goal is to provide a seamless user experience. Working in collaboration with the NRMN -CC and the NRMN U01 research projects, our goal is to significantly increase the number of underrepresented individuals in the biomedical research workforce.”
“Our team is thrilled to lead the NRMN Coordination Center during the second phase of NRMN. Our goal over the next five years is to support NRMN research projects through collaboration to seize longterm potential across the collective. Continuing the important work started in Phase I, we will provide the infrastructure needed to help the NRMN Resource Center and the U01 research project investigators maximize their knowledge about which interventions work, for what populations, and under what conditions. We will strive to create synergy across diverse projects and ideas to create a holistic perspective, thus contributing to the Diversity Program Consortium’s (DPC) ability to shift the paradigm in biomedical research workforce development.”
