INBRE/IDeA (NIGMS) Central Region Conference
June 7, 2017 - June 9, 2017
On behalf of the South Dakota IDeA programs, we would like to invite you to join us for the 2017 Central Region IDeA Meeting in Sioux Falls, SD. Dr. Jon Lorsch, Director of NIGMS, will be in attendance at our regional meeting! In order to be able to select invited short talks from both students and junior faculty, we will be soliciting abstracts prior to the meeting. A student poster session will be held on the evening of June 7 during the opening reception. Presentations by NIH staff, a keynote presentation, and invited short talks will occur on June 8, followed by affinity groups getting together to discuss areas of common interest (research areas and IDeA program areas). On June 9, there will be three simultaneous sessions, one for core facilities plus two scientific sessions. Thus, the schedule has some different approaches and goes back to some of the sharing times that were offered in the original regional meetings. Hopefully, there will be something for everyone at this meeting!
Dr. Rafael E. Luna will be presenting on June 8th at 9:45am, “Advancing Your Biomedical Research with NRMN.”
