Overview
The SACNAS National Conference is the annual meeting of the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS). The SACNAS national conference inspires, engages, and trains you to achieve your highest goals in pursuing an education and career in the STEM fields.
Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, postdoctoral researcher, or career professional, conference programming is specifically tailored to support you at each transition stage of your career as you move towards positions of leadership in STEM.
At 2015 SACNAS you will be surrounded by nearly 4,000 scientists of color and allies in an environment where the intersection of science, culture and community is a celebration of identity and diversity.

- JUDGES NEEDED: SACNAS will have 1,000+ students presenting their research at 2015 SACNAS! Professionals – this is your chance to give back and mentor the next generation of SACNAS leaders! Apply today to become a Judge/Mentor.
- SIGN UP TO MENTOR/CHAIR CONVERSATIONS WITH SCIENTISTS: Every year, students and professionals alike look forward to Conversations with Scientists, one of SACNAS’s hallmark events. SACNAS members get to learn from the experts in their specific sub-disciplines. While advanced sign-up is encouraged, but not required. If you’re interested in serving as a Conversations with Scientist Mentor or in chairing a room, please sign up.

NRMN presents Research Mentor Training workshop: “Tips to Becoming an Effective Research Mentor Across Career Stages”
Members of NRMN’s Mentor Training Core will be offering a 75 minute workshop during the conference on Friday, October 30, from 01:30 p.m. to 03:00 p.m. in room Chesapeake 4.
