The AAMC’s
Research on Care Community Health Equity subgroup invites you to a
webinar highlighting efforts by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to increase diversity among the biomedical research workforce. Jamboor Vishwanatha, PhD, University of North Texas Health Science Center, and Keith Norris, MD, PhD, University of California Los Angeles, will discuss the work of the BUILD (Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity) initiative and the National Research Mentoring Network. Medical students, faculty, and researchers are encouraged to participate and learn about becoming involved in these efforts as mentors or mentees.
