2015 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students

2015 marks the 15th year of the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS), the largest professional conference for minority students to pursue advance training in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). ABRCMS attracts approximately 3,300 individuals, including 1,700 undergraduate students, 400 graduate students and postdoctoral scientists and 1200 faculty, program directors and administrators. Students come from over 350 U.S. colleges and universities. All are pursuing advanced training in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and many have conducted independent research. The conference is designed to encourage underrepresented minority students to pursue advanced training in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and provide faculty mentors and advisors with resources for facilitating students.

NRMN Lead Principal Investogator Presents Session at ABRCMS 2015

Dr. David Burgess, NRMN’s lead PI is scheduled to present a session at ABRCMS on Wednesday, November 11th from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The title of the session is “National Research Mentoring Network to Diversify the Biomedical Workforce”.
