We made it! It’s officially 2021 and the MyNRMN team is excited to start rolling out new features and enhancements throughout the entire year! Since January is National Mentoring Month, the focus has been on helping our mentors and mentees connect.
Custom Recommendations
Starting in January, mentors and mentees alike will receive monthly emails with recommendations of other NRMN members to connect and network. These recommendations are derived from the MyNRMN matching algorithm which pulls information from the profile, existing member connections, and activities within the network. New STEMM students and professionals join MyNRMN every day and these email recommendations will help you actively increase and broaden your network.
Update your Profile!
To get the most out of MyNRMN’s matching algorithm, make sure to keep your profile updated! We recommend that MyNRMN members update their profiles at least once per year and/or as changes occur to your CV/Resume. Keeping your profile updated will help others find and connect with you as well as work to curate the recommended matches provided to you from our matching algorithm.
