Opportunity for Undergraduates to Showcase Research Virtually at a National Student Conference

By August 19, 2020No Comments

The Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) 2020: The Virtual Experience will be held online Nov. 9-13. As with the face-to-face conference, the cornerstone of the virtual program are the student presentations.

Use research from a virtual lab or past/current research experience as the basis of the abstract submission. ePoster presentations will available asynchronously throughout the conference while 48 live oral presentations will be given Nov. 9-12. All presentations will receive feedback from virtual judges and the top presentations from each discipline will receive a presentation award. The deadline to submit an abstract is Sept. 11.

Be sure to watch the ABRCMS Online webinar, “Communicate Your Science: Preparing the ABRCMS Abstract” to learn how to write a compelling abstract.

Student Registration Waivers are available to those who would like to present but are unable to afford the cost of registration. Deadline to apply is Aug. 20.
