Congratulations to former NRMN-P3 scholars Dr. Ana Quinones and Dr. Gloria Luong!

Dr. Ana Quinones is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health at Oregon Health and Science University, who participated in the second cohort of our NRMN-P3 program. Her R01 grant “Changes in Multimorbidity and Disability Among Race/Ethnic Older Adults” was successfully funded in July, after an Early Stage Investigator Rapid Submission Deadline. She was recently promoted to Associate Professor, and credits a large part of her success to the NRMN-P3 program – “I have been singing its praises.”

Dr. Gloria Luong, who was also a participant in Cohort Two, is an Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University. Her research focuses on socio-emotional development, and the links between stress and health. She recently received a perfect score on her K01 re-submission to the National Institute of Aging, and received funding on a 2-year grant from the Templeton Foundation. The title of her grant is “Elucidating the Pathways to Character via Short-term and Long-Term Changes Using Individual and Dyadic Approaches.”
