On February 8th, the Morehouse School of Medicine hosted the 29th Annual Curtis L. Parker Student Research Symposium, sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. The day’s event featured oral and poster presentations, followed by a Keynote Address about the future of the HPV vaccine by Speaker Douglas R. Lowy, M.D., Acting Director of the National Cancer Institute, and then closing with a ceremony presenting student awards.

Members of NRMN’s Research Resources and Outreach Core, which is located at Morehouse School of Medicine, attended the event and provided information about NRMN to attendees at an NRMN welcome table. As a result, NRMN welcomed approximately 60 attendees who signed up to receive more information about joining as new members of the network.
